The kids at Golden Valley High School have gone through all of these, and still are. They constantly win battles that they didn’t cause, and even the ones they did cause. No one understands anyone else, even if they’re going through the same thing. All of these kids are dealing with their problems differently, so no one really knows how well or how bad they’re doing. They need help, but who’s going to be the one to help them? The teachers don’t care what the kids do, as long as they get what they deserve in the end. The principal just suspends or expels the kids without warning. The security guards know which ones to stay away from, and the most dangerous aren’t bothered with, and cause the biggest threats to the school.

These kids go through this, too. Victoria Neilsen got pregnant freshman year, and currently has a set of three-year-old twins. Summer Lopez has been abused by her father for years. Jared James is Victoria’s current boyfriend, who may also be the father of the twins. Marcella Garcia has a two-month-old daughter, and misses school too often, but is barely passing. These six kids are the main kids of the school that people know about, for their popularity, their life stories, or even both. No one has the real story of these kids, but what they do have is pretty close, if they have anything at all.

The thoughts in her head were unbearable, so she came to the beach to hopefully clear her head. It was hard for her to just be okay with being sober, but it was what made all of her pain just go away. She couldn't believe what was going on with her.

If she hadn't had a thing with Hayden, it might have been him. He was adorable, athletic, and just one of the guys. She couldn't believe that she had seen him smoking. "Isn't that bad for someone who plays sports?" she questioned herself, but rather than asking him that, she walked up to him and tapped him on the back. "Hey Adam. You mind sparing one of your cigs for me?" she looked at him with puppy dog eyes and she knew that she was totally plastered at this point. She didn't even care. There is something brewing in the works with a new Dark Lord. He has been in hiding sinse he arose to his position by Lord Voldemort himself before Voldemort went into battle with Harry Potter.
It is now 3 years sinse the battle, and the new Dark Lord is rebuilding an new army. He is using Draco Malfoy as his recruiter recruiting students from Hogwarts. Draco has to gain these students trust and lure them to the Tom Riddle Orphanage where the training will take place.
These students have no idea what is going on. Once they arrive they are greeted by the famous Death Eaters, Lucius Malfoy who is in charge of the training. Narcissa Malfoy who is in charge of recruiting the adults who wish to train. Then they are introduced to the trainers who are Rod and Bella Lestrange along with Rab Lestrange. These trainers will put the new recruits into an harsh training session before they go up against the Dark Lord to prove their skills.
These trainees have no idea that the Dark Lord is actually over looking everything that is going on and he willl instruct the trainers who needs more training and who is ready to gain that most honorable mark the Dark Mark.
While all of this is going on under the Ministries noses they are clueless to it or are they. The trio, Harry, Ron and Hermoine now work at the Ministry with an new Minister of Magic. The Minister has placed spies all over Hogwarts. They know something is brewing but they are not sure what it is just yet. Draco has no idea about these spies.
The Ministry has been reforming an new Dumbledore Army to go against any attacks they may occur. The Ministry wants to be ready. What side will you be on?? South Miami High School goes through anyone goes through. There’s all the basics in life. Sex, fighting, dating, friendships, wins, loses, cliques, kids. The kids at South Miami are probably the most unique kids in all of Miami, simply because of their life stories. There’s the populars, that consist of dancers and mothers. There’s the preps that have poverty and despair. These kids are all joined together, because they have no status quo to stick to. Grace listened intently to the words he spoke. "Really? Haven't noticed," she murmured under her breath about he comment of him being high, but then his voice got serious, and she focused 100% on what Sam had to say. What he was saying, was he was admitting to the fact he was getting high a lot, and the reason why. Once she noticed those tears streaming down his face she bit her lip to hold back her own, feeling completely sorry for Sam. Her compassion always got the best of her.
"Oh, Sam," she murmured, cradling his face in her hands as she kissed his forehead. "Why? Nothing's your fault, it's all mine. I shouldn't have told you what I said...this probably wouldn't have happened," she whispered, her eyes watering up just by looking at him. She hated seeing him like this, because she knew that she'd start crying too. "Please Sam tell me you'll stop," she begged mercilessly, sniffling as she wiped her eyes before she could let anymore tears spill from her bright hues.

Miami High School is just like your typical high school however with just one difference...Miami’s very own university is just opposite the high school. Great... huh? While some students like to live away from home and have their independence, many choose to stay in Miami because they just can’t get enough of it. However are high school students and college students supposed to mix?
Miami’s high school and college is full of lots of different people. The cheerleaders, the jocks, the geeks, the snobby rich kids, but which clique would you be a part of...or are you strong enough to survive the cliques?
The school’s have a reputation for being two of the best in the state, so of course parents want their kids to attend here, no matter what age. Everyone has goals and everyone has dreams but what happens when all those people land in the same place?
With college students sharing the same courtyard as high school students and with last year’s high school seniors starting their freshman year at college...is college and high school as different as it seems? With bad pasts, bad breakups and secrets that you cannot just forget... school, parties, alcohol, fun, drama, sex, drugs, lies, homework, detention, backstabbers, cries... are these young adults going to survive?

Sam was still unable to think straight and therefore, it took him much longer than expected to process what Grace was saying to him. His stare was bouncing back and forth from Grace to the rest of the Great Lawn; his eyes were scanning the multitude of figures wandering around the premises. It was difficult to make out whether they were women or men, because well, they all looked alike in his eyes. He squinted, dilating his piercing red pupils; he hadn't though to bring a pair of sunglasses, which wasn't very smart.
Sam barely felt Grace's touch as she lifted his chin so that their gazes were level with one another. He squinted, hoping it would help him see Grace a little easier; surprisingly, it was working. "Hey..." He murmured slowly, able to speak without slurring. "I'm...I'm sorry...I'm -- high..." His stuttering was accompanied with a blank stare and a soft spoken grin. "Ever since last week... at the...beach, I've been...getting...high...a lot... I can't...stop. I've fallen...back...into my old...h--habits." The soft raindrop-like substance fell from his eyelids and streaked past his cheekbones and finally hit the pockets of his jeans. More tears continued flowing like rough streams and his lips quivered. Only Grace could do this to him.

Upon hearing a familiar, rather husky, uneasy voice, Grace stared into the reflection to find Sam's, right next to hers. She inhaled deeply and stiffened, her shoulders completely aligned as she yet to make notice of Sam, until he complimented her, but she could barely understand him. With a raised eyebrow, she turned to face him and she nearly gasped. He was so stoned! His bright blue eyes were red and dilated and he just reaked of the smell of pot wafting on him. She could see out of the corner of his eye a lighter in his pocket.
Grace sighed, "Yes Sam it's me," she said while nonchalantly taking her index finger and picking up his head so they were eye to eye. Even when he was in such harsh conditions it still hurt for her to look at him, because she still saw that guy who broke her heart, even when sporting five joints in his system..

Alex watched with a smile as Summer began to dance, the music was incredibly different from what Alex usually danced to but Summer made it work. Alex watched her every move slightly surprised at how well the girl could dance. When Summer finished and looked up at Alex she smiled at her. "very" she said after Summer had asked if it was good, they way to two of them danced was incredibly different, "i could imagine that with more people" she said after thinking about it for a minute, most of the dances Alex performed where made for many people. After a minute or so the song changed to low by flo rida and Alex was itching to dance, "mind if I dance again?" she asked Summer with a smille knowing exactly the dance she would do to that song.

The golden streaks simmering from the vast sky pelted Sam's skin and left him with a sparkling ever-growing tan as he walked. His mind was drifting far from reality and he let his feet carry him towards the center of the Park, where the Great Lawn lay in the midst of the entire park. The Great Lawn was one of the primary parts of the park that consisted only of grass and playing fields; needless to say, it was the perfect spot for a romantic picnic or a pickup baseball game.
Before Sam had decided to take a walk out, he'd smoked five rolled-up joints. The aftermath resulted in becoming incredibly high, and his body was out of sorts. He could barely see straight, nor think straight for that matter; and that had been his goal. Ever since he'd broken Grace's heart that night over a week ago on the beach, the two had barely been on speaking terms. Living at her place had become strenuous and awkward. Grace never allowed herself to be in the same room as Sam, and whenever he walked into the same room, she would gladly escort herself out.
With an exasperated sigh, Sam entered the Great Lawn and walked clumsily around the area. Even through his hazy, red pupils, he could make out the flawless figure of Grace Anderson sitting before him. He had unintentionally walked right over to where she was sitting and surprisingly, she hadn't moved away from him...yet. Maybe this would be the perfect time to finally talk and settle things; to be honest, he was unsure of what to say to her and would most likely babble like a complete idiot. But hey, he was high. She had to cut him some slack.
Sam fumbled for the ground with his palms and sat on the exact patch of grass that he had felt beneath him. "Grraaa-ceee? Is tha-t -- you?" His tone came out patchy and slurred. "I can -- barely...tell." A goofy smile simmered across his lips as his stained front teeth poked out. Blinking several times, his hazy gaze fell to Grace's chest and he left it there, chortling huskily. He was acting just as drunk as he was high. "Yer purrddyyy." So much for that talk...

Secret(s) Back home, Henry's father always suspected him to be on the honor roll for a good scholarship. He's on a few, but he finds it uncomfortable how his dad's always pressuring him work hard. Whilst reconciling about his best friend, Henry propped his skateboard up on the rail and started grinding it, before flying off, landing perfectly. He stopped, popped up his skateboard and yawned. He decided to take a break. Relaxation took over him once he realized he was home alone, since his dad's always on his ass about school and shit, it bugged the hell out of him. Setting his skateboard aside, the Senior skater went over to the hammock set up and laid himself down, resting his arms behind his head and he dozed off in a light sleep, tired from today's skating.

One night, whilst Taylor was out to the movies with her current boyfriend of the time, Mr. Benson came into Courtney's room. She had been asleep at the time, but was forced away by the shrieks of her father. Courtney stirred, and tried to wake up, but found her hands and feet tied to the bedposts. While her father plastered tape over her mouth, Courtney screamed and wailed as he stripped her of her clothing. That one night, Courtney lost her virginity...to her father.
Yes, he had raped her; and she's never told a soul. Of course, it's not like the event was something unimportant and non-impacting to Courtney's life. In fact, the image of that night haunts her in her dreams. Still, Courtney continually sees her father every summer for a good portion of it, and tries to pretend as if the event never happened. Mr. Benson has threatened to kill her, beat her to extreme proportions, and rape her continuously, night after night, if she dared tell her sister, or her mother, or even a friend. With this fear ebbed in the back of her mind, Courtney cannot comprehend what to do about the situation. She lives in fear, but somehow, her bright personality keeps her sustained. Courtney attempts her best to not think of the moment; however, it is almost impossible not to.
Courtney is still unsure as to why he did so. All that she can recall him saying was, "Your mother was good for nothing...I have you now." Boca Raton Central Park is one of those places where many teens come around to picnic under the bright, young sun. There's usually couples walking around the ponds, younger teenagers laughing around in their little groups, talking about life, and just gossiping.
For Grace, she took that place to heart, and usually was there to think things through. Mostly her thoughts were all about Sam. God, that night at the beach confused her thoughts inside and out. She didn't know what he was meaning when he said those things, and she wasn't quite sure if she should have said what she screamed to him. That she was in love with him. Hm, probably not, but she did so anyway. Why? Because the feeling of falling in love burned in her heart but honestly, Sam didn't feel that way, at least for what he told her. She trusted him so much, so much to sleep with her! Maybe that night was regretful..
With a pained sigh, Grace scooted around the bench she was sitting on for comfort, her legs crossed together, staring at the water, at her reflection. She didn't even know who she was anymore, or at least who she had become. Grace had promised to herself that she wouldn't let a guy come between her and her heart, but obviously she couldn't keep that promise for long, because around Sam, she was vulnerable...sadly..
Wearing dark skinny jeans, a black graphic tee and a Zoo York hoodie, she pulled the hood up to cover most of her golden, straight locks, except for what hung out of her jacket, which was mostly her long blond hair not bothering to be pulled up into a pony tail.. her bright eyes seemed clouded with sadness..and a distant look beyond that, too.
She just wished she could sort shit out with Sam sooner or later...

Sam was unable to look Grace in the eyes; he couldn't take this bullet to his heart. He had to protect her, and he was fully aware that the only way to do so was to let her down easy, or so he attempted to do. Apparently, she'd taken this as a full blow to the heart, just as he had. Clenching his palms into tight fists, he camouflaged his anger with his own self and tried to shut out Grace's wrenching hysterics.
Unfortunately and fortunately simultaneously, Sam was unable to block out what Grace was saying; he heard everything that spilled from her pursed, sincere lips. All that it summed up to be was that she was in love with him, his complete asshole self, and yet at the same time, she was crushed by this sudden news. When they'd slept together, he'd told her that he loved her and only her, and now he was telling her the complete opposite.
Sam could see where this conversation was leading before Grace ripped her gaze away from his and took off for the opposing end of the beach. Just moments ago, the two had been happily holding one another and their eyes dancing into each other's. "I'm sorry!" He blurted, his voice projecting downwards. It was the only thing he'd had time to say before he glimpsed the ever-so-familiar blonde hair whisking farther and farther away in the starry night sky.
Sam conversed aloud rather quickly and decided to head home. He didn't much feel like walking on the beach anymore. But then again, anything was better than going home to Grace who would most likely throw him out on the street. His fickle mind allowed him to aloof his decision and come home later when she would be sound asleep; that way, he could sneak through the door unheard and unseen. Turning his back on the abruptly fast, but incredibly drastic scene of his life and headed towards the Boca Raton Lighthouse, hoping to find the answers to exactly who he was and what the fuck he'd just done to not only himself, but his first and only true love.

Grace did as she was told to do, which was listen, and the more she listened, the more her confidence just sank..lower, and lower..
Was he rejecting her?! But, all those things he said, the way he always looked at her. Damn, was it gonna be hard living with him or what, now? He fooled around with her feelings, and legit her. That was the last Grace expected Sam to do, atleast to Grace, his own best friend; his other half.
"Sam, I don't understand...," she muttered underneath her shaking breaths. "What you- and that ni- I trusted you!" she exclaimed half heartedly, and what she meant by trust is the whole, him sleeping with her. He was the only guy she slept with in years...and he didn't find anything out of that! Wow, what the fuck is going on in this kid's mind!
Feeling tears well and sting in her eyes, she shook her head fiercely. "Ohhh no Sam, you didn't lead me on, not at all! You fucked with my feelings, my heart, and everything. You told me things I guess isn't true..," she said, hurt tearing through her shaky voice.
She slowly began to back away from him, clutching onto a heart locket hanging from her neck. The locket she was given to by Sam in her freshmen year, when they first met. It was a cute picture of him hugging her, and her mouth was wide open with a smile, almost kind of like she was laughing when the picture was taken.
"Oh, and by the way. You honestly didn't lead me on, Sam. You fucking made me fall in love with you...," she admitted coldly.
"And...," she sniffed, shaking her head. "It was all for nothing." With that, she turned her back completely on Sam, walking, no, more like running away from him. She ran down the shoreline, not really caring where she went, but sooner or later she ended up leaned against a boulder, her head up to the sky to prevent the tears as she closed her eyes tightly, hiding the sobs that wished to escape but she swallowed him back.
So they really meant it when all the girls said he was a real heartbreaker...

Summer smirked slightly, and she shook her head, listening to Alex's words. She laughed a little, and nodded, before she took her vitamin water out of her bag. She opened it, and sipped it for a few seconds, before placing it down on the bleachers with her bag.
Summer took her cell phone out of her jeans pocket, and put it into her bag, so it wouldn't get damaged while she was showing Alex her dancing skills. She bit her lip. Most of her dancing skills involved flips and tricks, but she could try to do a dance without it.
"I might need the flips, so don't mind it if I do," She said.
Summer took the remote from Alex, and she flipped through the music that was on the CD. She finally settled on a song after a few minutes of browsing the cd, and she placed the remote on the bleachers. She backed up, to give herself room, and started her dance.
After a few minutes, Summer's dance ended, and she smirked, as she finished, and her gaze landed on Alex for a few seconds. Breathing slightly heavy, Summer finally decided to speak.
